| Abstract: | EL 10322 covers 6.7 square kilometres near (but excluding) the old Great Northern Mine at Pine Creek. It is being explored for gold. During year 5, five rock chip samples were taken from Backhoe Hill. One from a quartz outcrop near the crown of the hill returned 31 g/t Au. All others were poor. Several short backhoe trenches were dug on flat ground, but no gravel was found because the overlying silt was too thick. Mineral claims were pegged during the year. |
