Annual report on EL 24204, 19 October 2006 to 18 October 2007, Kulgera Prospect

Abstract

This report describes the work undertaken by Washington Resources Limited (WRL) in assessing the mineral potential of granted exploration licence EL 24204 during the reporting period 19 October 2006 to 18 October 2007. The EL has potential for hydrothermal associated mineralisation, particularly Ta/Nb and Li, as well as primary and calcrete U. An airborne magnetic/radiometric survey was completed and the data integrated with the earlier NTGS surveys. The rock chip sampling and ground based scintillometer surveys were extended and a reconnaissance drill campaign designed. A mine management plan has been compiled and approval has been given for the proposed drilling campaign. The AAPA have been commissioned to perform a heritage survey and provide the clearance certificate for the proposed drilling campaign. To date we await this clearance.
