Title: Annual report for EL 24282 and EL 24283
Title Holder / Company: Raxile
Report id: CR2005-0712

Year: 2005
Author: Carter, A
Abstract: These ELs are held to drill test the gold potential of the Amadeus Basin. The exploration model is based on an analogy with the Witwatersrand Basin in South Africa. The presence of deep-seated shear zones and thrust faults, high geothermal gradients, the presence of sulfide-bearing quartz veins and other sulfides are seen as conducive to the transport and deposition of hydrothermal gold. Particular interest is focused on the unconformity at the top of the Bitter Springs Formation.
