Final technical report for EL 23774 'Rodinga', for the year ending 22 November 2006

Abstract

EL 23774 'Rodinga' was granted to Tyson Resources Pty Ltd on 23rd November 2003 for a period of six years to explore and evaluate the potential for economic potash mineralisation. During this reporting year, a review of all previous work and investigations was completed with a view to selecting targets for potash exploration, based largely on petroleum data. Following examination of the seismic line data, one target area was selected, based on depth to the salt horizon and probability of intersecting economic salt horizons. Site visits were made both by vehicle and helicopter to determine site suitability, access and logistic support. EL 23774 was surrendered 23-10-2006.
