Abstract: | Muralidbar is a uranium exploration project area in northwest Arnhem Land, which is owned and operated by Cameco Australia Pty Ltd (Cameco). Cameco applied for and was granted the tenement on 29th August 2005, whereby the tenement is due to expire on the 29th of August 2011. Due to the granting of this tenement late in field season, Cameco were unable to arrange a work program and undertake any exploration activity during the reporting period. Cameco were only able to review historic data and begin prioritising follow up areas and planning a work program for the following dry season. The Daniel Fault system is of interest because it shows vertical offsets and has a number of small radiometric anomalies scattered along its length. |
