Abstract: | The area was applied for to test the potential for Ni, Cu, Au, U and Co as well as all other minerals. During the reporting period a literature review was carried out and nine samples were asssayed. Sample K30 (Latitude -230 57' 24' / Longitude 1350 04' 58') which returned very anomalous Uranium (1050ppm) as well as anomalous Cobalt (146ppm). The sample was taken from a gossanous sandstone outcrop. Sample K37 (Latitude -240 03' 07' / Longitude 1350 14' 52') returned anomalous Silver (5ppm) and anomalous Nickel (114ppm). Sample K37 was taken from outcropping amphibolite. The other seven samples had basically negative results, however, Sample K33 (Latitude -240 02' 41' / Longitude 1350 13' 52') gave an anomalous result for Silver (5ppm). Sample K33 was also taken from outcropping amphibolite. |
