Abstract: | Exploration Licence 10401 'Yambah' forms part of the Burt Plain Project, which is situated approximately 60 km north of Alice Springs within the Arunta region of the North Australian Craton. EL 10401 was granted on 6 December 2001 and at the end of the fourth year of term the central portion of EL 10401 was relinquished. This report outlines the work undertaken on the relinquished portion. The registered holder of EL 10401 is Tanami Exploration NL (TENL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Tanami Gold NL (TGNL), a publicly listed company. Exploration on the relinquished tenement area comprised a regional geological interpretation and ground reconnaissance sampling including rockchips from a retrograde shear zone. No encouraging results were returned. |
