Title: Final report for EL 24365
Title Holder / Company: Alterra Services
Report id: CR2005-0483
Tenure: EL24365
Year: 2005
Abstract: A physiographic feature on EL 24365 was investigated to test the possibility of it having resulted from an intrusive event. The aim of the exploration was to find diamondiferous lamproites or kimberlites. The feature was visited once. Two ground magnetic traverses were conducted and geochemical samples were obtained from within the feature. The magnetic traverses showed no significant anomaly, and the geochemistry showed no evidence of lamproite or kimberlite, or significant base metal deposit. It was concluded that the feature was not the expression of a diamond bearing kimberlite or lamproite pipe. The exploration license has been surrendered.
