| Abstract: | The licence area is considered prospective for diamondiferous kimberlitic diatremes and U-(Au) mineralisation at the contact for the Seigal Volcanics and the Westmoreland Conglomerate. Gold was selected as a pathfinder element to uranium mineralisation. From known uranium prospects in area a threshold of 0.4ppb Au was considered anomalous. 149 stream sediment samples were collected returning a maximum assay of 3ppb Au, with 12 samples assaying >0.5ppb Au and 21 samples assaying >0.4ppb. |
