Title: Annual and final report EL 5076 Phillip Creek project area to 28 January 1991
Title Holder / Company: Poseidon Gold
Report id: CR1991-0177
Tenure: EL5076
Year: 1991
Author: Davenport, JWJ
Abstract: The report summarises work to date undertaken within the licence area. Work during 1990-91 concentrated on the P18 aeromagnetic anomaly. Modelling of ground magnetic survey over the P18 anomaly suggested a bipolar bulls eye anomaly at the end of a magnetic ridge running northwest from the Gecko mine. Drilling of P18 intersected an uninterrupted thickness of magnetically susceptible dolerite and gabbro. No hydrothermal ironstone was encountered. The magnetic response was attributed to the mafic intrusives encountered during drilling.
Previous reports combined with EL5066 (Vivid Prospect) where there are some mineral claims. Report discusses the general stratigraphy of the Tennant Creek Block.
