Abstract: | The airborne magnetic interpretation highlighted an area in the NW of the licence which had a complex magnetic signature. The remainder of the EL was magnetically inactive. A regional scale geochemical programme was undertaken in the NW of the licence. It consisted of an initial programme of 190 soil, 194 lag and 1 rock chip sample. This programme outlined 5 areas with statistically anomalous values. Follow up of these areas consisted of 68 lag and 83 soil samples and failed to enhance these values and it was considered unlikely that the area would host significant mineralization. |
