Abstract: | Exploration was undertaken to look for unconformity style uranium mineralisation at the contact between the Burrell Creek Formation and the overlying Tolmer Group. Drilling at the Eccles 11 Prospect found mineralisation to be concentrated around the TOL-P-96. The mineralisation appears stratiform and intimately associated with an interbedded sequence of chlorite and graphite rich schist and interbedded pegmatite, greisen veins. It is not economic. Analysis of exploration techniques used found that the EM37 technique gave many false results while the VLF-Wadi survey was fast and effective |
