| Abstract: | During Year 1 of the licence a BLEG survey was conducted. 3 samples returned anomalous values (max 4.51ppb Au.) 2 of these sites drained area previously tested by WMC who failed to locate any economic deposits there and the third was traced to a phyllite hosted, sheared quartz hematitc ridge. Rock chip samples from the ridge returned a max assay of 0.355ppm Au. These samples also returned anomalous As (2500ppm), Pb (3900ppm) Cu (312ppm) and Zn (117ppm). A stream sediment programme undertaken in year 2 located 6 anomalous sites. Follow up sampling failed to enhance the anomalies. |
