Abstract: | Soil sampling of the central western portion of the licence highlighted an area of 0.6km squared near the western boundary of the licence. Maximum assay of 28.6ppb Au was obtained. Outcrop-subcrop sampling returned background, level gold assays only. Resampling the initial anomaly downgraded the initial anomaly with a maximum assay of 6.7ppb Au. Rock chip samples from rare quartz veins in the area of the soil anomaly failed to return any anomalous gold results, as did rock chip samples from the central and eastern portion of the licence. The probability of finding a significant gold or base metal body in the licence area is remote. |
