Abstract: | During the reporting period work involved the collating and assessment of all available data and further on site testing to evaluate the commercial feasibility of a mining operation. A structural interpretation and on site work using aerial photography was completed. Geothermics technology was used to produce structural plans of the area, in an effort to determine the likelyhood of further undiscovered mineral deposits. The sequencing of structures and the effects of stress on those structures will define the mineralisation in the survey area. Structural analysis has defined 16 structural groups of which at least 5 are mineralised. Additional work was also carried out on sampling and assessment of areas and work on plant, etc. results were not available at the time of this report. A review on previous work done was completed and results were checked in order to assess the accuracy of previous reports and work done by previous tenement holders. The resource potential for the area was calculated to be 5-11 million tonnes of pegmatitic lodes, 4 million cubic metres of eluvial deposits, and 50 million cubic metres of alluvial deposits. It is apparent that a major economic resource of Ta, Nb and Sn is present within the project area, with significant potential for other elements such as Au, Li and Ti. |
