Abstract: | The report outlines the work undertaken to date in that part of licence retained under SEL7389. This work has identified in the NW of the licence an 8Km long NNW trending zone of base metal mineralisation and minor gold (Corridor anomaly). The zone is in the area of the contact of the Mount Bonnie Formation and Gerowie Tuff. The best results were 1.95% Pb and 2.91 g-t Au. Work at the Pelican prospect included costeaning, drilling and soil sampling. The results of drilling were disappointing. In August 1990 Aerodata flew an aeromagnetic survey including the northern section of the EL with a flight line spacing of 200m tie lines 2000m and an average elevation of 70m. |
