Abstract: | Interpretation of the aeromagnetics recognised no discreet anomalies within the area. 24 stream sediment samples were collected some highly anomalous assays for gold were returned. Repeat sampling and repeat assays were undertaken and it was concluded that the highly anomalous assays were due to laboratory error. 17 rock chip samples were collected as follow up. The best result 1.05ppm (#229666) was obtained from a narrow discontinuous quartz vein. Other similar veins in the vicinity returned values to 0.18ppm. The area is believed to have been adequately tested and it is believed that there is little potential for an economic resource. Samples from the vicinity of the Wolfram Hill mine were significantly anomalous in Cu, Pb, Zn, W, Sn and As. |
