Abstract: | The majority of the relinquished area is covered by black soil plains which is a hindrance when using traditional exploration techniques. The aeromagnetic survey delineated a number of magnetic units within the Burrell Creek Formation in this area of the licence, several north east trending faults and a strong narrow aeromagnetic lineament presumed to be a narrow dolerite dyke. No discrete anomalies were outlined in the relinquished area of the licence. Soil sampling results were low averaging 0.8ppb Au. Due to the lack of encouragement from the results the area was relinquished. |
