Title: Annual and final report on EL 6249 Burnside to 15 November 1990
Title Holder / Company: Western Mining
Report id: CR1991-0012
Tenure: EL6249
Year: 1991
Author: Conan-Davies, MS
Abstract: The report summarises the work undertaken during the life of the permit. To complete the testing of the Rising Tide Au-As anomaly, 6 RC drill holes totalling 192m were drilled testing the entire anomaly-the best value was 8m at 0.19g-t in BRNC-6. The area requires no further work. Follow up of the lead anomalism outlined in the previous year showed the anomalism to more dislocated than previously thought-the anomalism is coincident with an intense magnetic high. The anomaly is deemed to be uneconomic.
Structural features reported include: Batchelor Shelf.
