Abstract: Geological reconnaissance showed no evidence of gold mineralisation. Examination of the dumps at Whatley's returned very high lead levels to 43.3% Pb and anomalous Cu (to 1150ppm) and Zn (to 440ppm) and As (to 3100ppm). A number of pegmatites particularly near Whatley's out crop. One sample from near Whatley's contained visible cassiterite (1150ppm Sn).
