Abstract: This report summarises the exploration undertaken by the joint venturers during the life of the permit and outlines the work undertaken during the current year of the licence. 2 phases of soil sampling were completed across a drainage area that had returned 25.8ppb Au in the south of the EL. Anomalous results were obtained, field checking showed that the anomalous values were obtained from recent alluvials in streams draining the Spring Hill Workings or palaeo alluvial deposits associated with a fossil billabong of the McKinaly River. Soil sampling of N NW trending mylonitic zone on the western margin of the Pine Creek Shear Zone retuned anomalous values, for palaeo alluvials but failed to define a bedrock source. Palaeo alluvials have only a limited tonnage potential in the order of 50 000 BCM's. Rock chip samples taken in the south west margin of the grid returned base metal values of background level and gold was below the detection limit. As the results were not encouraging no further work is proposed.
