| Abstract: | The soil gold anomaly at Quest 36 was costeaned. The resultant assays were poor. Despite this the area was tested by 2 percussion drill holes QTSP 6 and 7. The results were no better that the costean results. A few hundred metres northeast a base metal anomaly was tested by 5 percussion drill holes which confirmed the anomaly. The results suggest base metal enrichment of the part of the hole possible due to lateritization and superficial brecciation. |
