Abstract: The Lakeside lode is a quartz-sulphide fissure filling type deposit similar to Mount Diamond and numerous other structures emanating from the Coronet Hill Granite. Chip sampling and soil sampling of the lode give a copper and bismuth distribution which suggests the existence of shoots of ore within the quartz structure. IP work indicates metallic mineralisation on all lines at shallow depth. It is recommended that a hole be drilled to intersect the lode at a vertical depth of 150 feet.
