Abstract: | The geological survey of the South Evelyn Area failed to delineate any possible metalliferous areas apart from those areas previously known. (Stockyard Prospect and limestone terrains). Geological mapping is unlikely to result in the discovery of any mineralisation of economic significance. A geochemical copper, lead and zinc stream sediment survey should be initiated to delineate any possible metalliferous areas. In addition, a systematic search of the Cullen Granite and the contact between the granite and the sediments should be initiated to determine the presence, or otherwise of tin, tungsten and molybdenum. |
