Abstract: | Within the claims there exists in the middle, over the Zamu Dolerite, a large low order gold anomaly overlain by low order copper and zinc anomalies. To the northeast of this zone exist two low order gold anomalies at the boundary of the Koolpin Formation and Gerowie Tuff. Follow up of these anomalies failed to locate evidence of favourable structure or mineralisation. The anomalies appear restricted to the Zamu Dolerite it is therefore interpreted that this unit is the source and controlling influence on the large low scale gold-Cu-zinc anomaly. The two smaller gold anomalies are due and BIF horizon within the Koolpin Formation. |
