Abstract: Deposits occur as primary pegmatite cassiterite and tantalite and secondary Eluvial Deposits. Several pegmatites were examined Leviathan, Burnetts, Frilled Lizard, Jim Jim, Kristies, Phoenix, Riverside and Trojan prospects. The results ranged from poor to low. McBurns Pegmatite appears worked out, yet grades are high and there is an estimate of 200t of eluvial Sn-Ta. Pandanus Pegmatite has poor cassiterite grades with moderate tantalite. It has an estimated reserve of 0.006kg-t SnO2 and 0.55Kg- Ta205. Finally North Phoenix gave high grade results. The prospect having two zones. The upper zone has an 0.405kg-t SnO2 and 0.031kg-t Ta2O5. The lower zones 0.033kg-t SnO2 and 0.017kg-t Ta2O5.
