Abstract: | Work undertaken during year two included 6 stream sediment, 866 -40# soil and 133 rock chip samples, 9 costeans and 1 diamond drill hole 231.5m. This work outlined Pb and Zn mineralisation (3m at 1.4% Pb and 3.4m at 0.2% Zn (trenching)). It was shown that northerly trending (discordant) gossanous limonitic and siliceous structures are generally lead rich and associated with less zinc and silver. Northwest trending (330 degrees magnetic) limonitic linear zones are elevated in zinc. Haematite beds are also elevated in zinc. |
