Abstract: | 336 soil and 16 rock chip samples were collected from the Yellow Track south anomaly. Soil sample results were generally background except for a small north-south trending coincident Pb-Zn anomaly (maximum 287 ppm Pb and 229ppm Zn) in the NW of the grid. This anomaly is coincident with an actinolite-chlorite lode and magnetic high. Rock chip samples were slightly elevated Cu-Zn and As (maximum 566ppm Cu, 358ppm Zn, 630ppm As), with background Au, Pb and Ag. 160 soil samples were collected over the Emerald Springs anomaly. A strong Pb anomaly was outlined over silicified limestone and gossan (maximum 3500ppm Pb) anomaly 250 x 50m trending NW. A coincident Zn anomaly maximum 1609ppm Zn some 180 x 80m is apparent. A separate 100 x 30m anomaly occurs in the south of the grid. The coincident Pb-Zn anomaly was tested by a single diamond drill hole. Traces of sphalerite and galena note in quartz carbonate veinlets. Structural features reported include: Burrundie Dome. |
