Abstract: | Work during year one consisted of 83 rock chip, 2 -40# stream sediment and 201 -40# soil samples. In addition 2 diamond drill holes totalling 330.1m were completed. Rock chip sampling returned maximum values of 3.26% Pb, 0.72%Zn, 5.1g-t Ag and 2.10g-t Au. Analysis of data showed that North-Northwest (340-10 degrees magnetic) trending discordant siliceous structures with some gossanous material were rich in lead and associated with elevated Au, Zn and As values. WNW (310-340 degrees magnetic) structures were Zn rich with elevated As and Pb. Soil sampling confirmed this. Diamond drilling intersected Pb-Zn mineralisation. |
