Abstract: Recent flood plain alluvium of the Margaret River is largely silt dominated with minor gravels and not considered for economic gold occurrences. Two areas of a high level old river gravels were identified. Testing revealed 50,000m2 of gravels available but only sub economic gold were detailed. Mapping of scattered outcrop within MCN214 to 222 has revealed little promise of a primary gold deposit. In MCN223 and 224, outcrop is limited but trends indicate a structurally position favourable for gold mineralisation. One float valley revealed .15ppm gold.
