Abstract: One aeromagnetic anomaly has been identified (P7) within the relinquished area. This area has scare outcrop and the anomaly is believed to represent the contact of the Warrego Granite with the lower Carraman Formation. The regional soil grid identified an anomalous area (C27) with reading to 0.95ppb gold. This result was followed up by a closer spaced grid returning results to 1.78ppb gold. 3 rock chip samples were collected. Sample 400948-1 returned an assay of 210ppm Cu. All other assays could be said to be background level. 17 RAB holes were drilled to test C27. A zone of weakly anomalous gold to 0.05ppm was encountered in holes next to the surface BLEG anomaly. This anomaly is believed to be related to a poorly defined granite-metasediment contact zone.
