Final report for the Glyde River Project McArthur Basin Els 8643, 9323, 9502 and 9508

Abstract

The tenements have been covered by an airborne Geochem survey, which delineated some conductors. The Boom 1 conductor was tested by a ground EM survey (boundary EL9508/8643) which suggested a 3 ohm.m conductor to exist at 230m. The conductor was tested by a 254m diamond core hole, which intersected structurally controlled minor chalcopyrite and traces of galena and sphalerite, 20m @ 0.12% Cu was intersected in the hole within the Wollogorang Formation. This suggested that the Wollogorang Formation is generally enriched in Cu, hence the intersection of chalcopyrite is not considered significant.
