| Abstract: | Soil and rock chip sampling has outlined an area (Mount Birch Prospect) of some 3km strike of copper mineralisation with minor lead in siliceous dolomite. This dolomite belongs to the Balbirini Dolomite. This prospect is in an area of significance to local aborigines. An area of weak copper anomalism has been found in the southern part of the area. The results from Stockdale's diamond exploration were negative. |
