Abstract: | The airborne Questem survey confirmed the extent and distribution of the M12 anomaly and outlined two persistent lineaments (Emu and Western Faults). These faults form the eastern and western boundary of the M12 anomaly. The anomaly was further confirmed by the Sirotem survey. Interpretation of the Sirotem survey suggests a thickening from west to east of the Barney Creek Formation beneath the Bukalara Sandstone. Two other anomalies (Loop 72 and 73) were outlined by the geophysical surveys. These anomalies are suggestive of restricted zones of surficial conductive material. Pisolite sampling of these geophysical anomalies found no geochemical anomalism. Structural features reported include: Glyde Sub-Basin. |
