Abstract: Work carried on from gridding, mapping and drilling in the previous year. Airborne geophysical anomalies were followed up on the ground, but most were discarded due to being Th anomalies or due to contrasting lithologies. Drilling was planned at El Hussen but abandoned due to access problems. Drilling at Black and White Grid was to test the lithologies below the Westmoreland Conglomerate, and a NW-trending mag anomaly. No significant anomalism or U enrichment was found, with only a modest increase in values at the contact zone. Mercury was analysed to see if it could be a pathfinder for U in the area, but results showed no correlation.
