Abstract: | A regional track etch survey was carried out in the Ngalia Basin with results ranging from a maximum of 2,002 t-mm2 to a minimum of 0.6. The median value was 6.3 with a standard deviation of 6.9. The goldtobahn exploration licence gave significant results in the north-east corner of a ground survey including radiometrics and trenching if required is recommended. Large alluvial areas disguise the significance of anomalies on the silveramba 1, Rinkabeena, Djuburula East and Djuburula West exploration licences. However, a small follow-up close spaced track etch survey on Rinkabeena accurately detailed the radon highs. Results of track etch survey and principles of track etch and objectives. |
