| Abstract: | The licence area was applied for in order to follow up microdiamonds recovered when the area was explored as EL4342. 8 reconnaissance stream sediment samples, 2x1t bulk and 1x30t bulk samples were collected. 3 of the 8 stream sediment samples returned microdiamonds but no other kimberlitic indicator mineral was recovered. The two 2x1t bulk samples returned multiple microdiamond but no indicator minerals. The 30t sample failed to return any commercial sized diamonds. The lack of any indicator minerals has downgraded the potential for a nearby primary source. |
