Title: | Coronation Hill geophysical downhole logging, August 1987 |
Title Holder / Company: | BHP Minerals Coronation Hill Joint Venture |
Report id: | CR1987-0332 |

Year: | 1987 |
Author: | Rossback, AG |
Abstract: | The report presents results of a continuing programme of gamma ray logging of drill holes at Coronation Hill. The 45degrees inclination of most holes caused problems with the probe sticking in the hole. Not all holes could be probed as some had collapsed, wholly or in part. Of 30 holes scheduled for logging, 15 holes were completely logged, and 6 could not be logged at all. The remainder were partially logged. While radioactive zones were encountered in 12 holes, none of these approached the high result encountered in hole DDH29. |
