Abstract: | This is a detailed drilling report on DDH A28 drilled to test the possible deep extension of known Cu-Zn mineralisation at Anomaly A in the Daly copper field. The hole intersected a sequence of fine to medium grained chloritic tuffs and massive chloritic rock. 1-2% pyrite is common. Siliceous zones contain pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite, galena and sphalerite in massive chlorite. The best mineralised interval from 237-242 m carried 6.3% Zn and 0.75% Cu and 6 g/t Ag. |
