| Abstract: | In May-June 1980, CRAE carried out a helicopter assisted geochemical drainage survey on EL 1802, subject of an option joint venture agreement, with Hillrise Properties Pty Ltd. Samples of heavy mineral (gravel) and stream sediments were collected from 35 sites which achieved a sample density of one sample per 11.35 km. The gravel samples were not processed due to a backlog in the CRAE laboratory. Analytical results by AMDEL for fourteen elements are available for all stream sediment samples. These indicate several lead, zinc, copper, cobalt, nickel and uranium anomalies requiring confirmation. |
