| Abstract: | EL 1601 is situated in the Waggaman Goldfield, about 150 km southeast of Darwin. This report gives details of exploration work by Nord Resources (Pacific) Pty Ltd on the licence area during the period 10 August, 1979 to 9 August, 1980. Investigations included petrological studies, prospecting and sampling for gold, additional mapping at aerial photograph scale, and commencement of more detailed mapping in the east of the licence. |
