Abstract: Several new areas of mineralisation were discovered during 1969. None of these are of economic grade or size, but the widespread copper mineralisation, particularly on the basalt volcanics contact, points to the potential for significant occurrences in covered or obscured areas. Three types of occurrences are of primary interest: (1) structurally controlled mineralisation in fault and shear zones. (2) Copper mineralisation in vesicles in flow tops. (3) Copper mineralisation in agglomerates. It is proposed to test prospective zones by IP surveys and follow up drilling.
