| Abstract: | I.M.C. accidentally drilled a hole (I.M.C. No. 1) in this area. It was reported that it contained phosphates. The 1970 drilling program consisted of three widely spaced holes to locate any phosphate zones in the area. The drilling was carried out between the 15/7/70 and the 19/7/70 by Trayan Drilling Company using a Gemco Drill. Total footage drilled was 330 feet. No worthwhile phosphatic zones were located. No assay better than 1% P2O5 was obtained. |
