| Abstract: | Report examines the practicality of using leaching to extract copper from the ore at the Jervois Mine. The recommendations were that a 3-8' crush with fines retained should be used. A split (2 stage) leaching process should be applied using 4.5% w-v sulphuric acid. The ore bed should be 10' x 10' x 3' with an acid flow rate of 2 gallons-square foot-hour. |
