Abstract: | A systematic regional bedrock geochemistry program was completed. 1142 RC Drill holes (21 838m) were completed. Extensive areas of geochemical anomalism parallel to stratigraphy over a strike length of 10 km. 4 areas were subsequently followed up. Of these prospects the most interesting results were from Beaver Creek where mineralization is associated with strong quartz carbonate veining within a greywacke-shale sedimentary package intruded by mafics. The best intercept was 4m at 26g-t. This hole had several intercepts in excess of 1g-t Au. |
