| Abstract: | Area 55 was regridded and most holes were resurveyed. 6 auger holes (39m in total) were completed on line 1800E, but failed to penetrate the Cretaceous. 2242m of RC drilling and 1128.4m of diamond drilling were completed. Drilling in the period returned several encouraging results. A zone of near surface dolomite hosted mineralization was delineated east of 1800E. This mineralization is associated with high Mn. A high grade zone of mineralization on section 1125N, 1150N and 1175N between 1680E and 1750E was outlined. This zone appears relatively flat lying. |
