Abstract: Initial work in the Windy Hill area consisted of detailed geological mapping, rock chip sampling and a detailed airborne magnetic and radiometric survey. Follow up work comprised of RAB, RC and Diamond drilling together with petrological and structural studies. Substantial gold mineralisation was found at the Minotaur Prospect, in an area with no outcrop, but a strong magnetic signature. Values of 135 g/t Au and 72.2 g/t Au were obtained from Diamond and RC drilling respectively. Base metals also showed some anomalism. Following this discovery, the magnetic anomalies on EL 5418 North have become important targets for a similar style of mineralisation. Exploration on EL 5418 North consisted of regional geological mapping, rock chip sampling, BLEG sampling, followed by RAB drilling. The rock chip sampling identified two main areas of anomalous Au results (max. 14ppb), but the geochemical analysis of the BLEG and RAB samples were not anomalous.
