Abstract: | Follow up drilling was undertaken at the Main Ridge Prospect with 21 RC drill holes for 1149 m. Results showed that the host sequence for stockwork and ladder vein mineralisation is a steeply eastward dipping arkosic sandstone horizon which crops out on the western side of the Main Ridge. Three RC holes were drilled at the Northern Quartz Prospect (for 99 m). Results were much lower than anticipated. One RC drill hole was completed at the Chinese Workings Prospect, which intersected carbonates, and confirmed that the depressions in the area are in fact sinkholes. |
