Title: Summary report on geological mapping, bedrock geochemistry and drilling.
Title Holder / Company: Roebuck Resources
Report id: CR1992-0118
Tenure: AC66
Year: 1992
Author: Fox, K
Abstract: Mineralisation at Big Ben appears to be concentrated along the intersection of an east-west trending shear zone which extends westerly from the Peter Pan Prospect and west-north-west trending fracture or shear. Bedrock geochemical vacuum drilling has indicated the presence of two potentially significant geochemical anomalies. The southern of the anomaly is characterised by highly anomalous lead values which is variable coincident with highly anomalous copper, bismuth and gold values. The area maximum coincident gold, copper and lead values correlates with the area of greatest shear and hydrothermal alteration zone width. This area has been tested by 1 RC percussion drill hole (BBRC03), with a maximum assay of 2m at 2.01ppm Au.
