Abstract: No significant mineralisation was found in diamond drillholes MANT-79-2at Caranbirini, which was drilled from the PMR14 precollar, to a depth of 617m.The structure and stratigraphy of the M12 basin is identical to the basin containing the HYC mineralisation. However, there is a lack of thick massive sulphides, an absence of thin cherty wisps and nodules, and a predominance of non-vitric tuffaceous material over vitric tuffs. These absences are interpreted as a lack of exhalative activity in the M12 basin. Gravity surveys still seen as best indicator of determining basins of interest. No significant results encountered in the drill holes, some high zinc values. Kennecott will farm-in, and fund further exploration.
